Silver is a first-year Psychology M.A. student on the Substance Use and Mental Health track. She received a B.S. in Cognitive Science, and her senior thesis examined factors associated with remission from the clinical high-risk for psychosis state. Her current research interests center on the intersection of language, communication and attachment patterns. Outside of the Human Language and Development lab, she also works on projects examining body representation and attachment, and the relationship between fear of happiness and nostalgia.
